影片故事讲述劳拉(维拉·法米加饰)和她古怪的父亲杰克(克里斯托弗·普卢默饰)展开一段非常古怪的公路旅行。。方信毕业于江西警察学校，梦想是当一名城市守护神“城市猎人”，现是一名出租车司机，也是一名上有老下有小的好父亲，为人正直，也是众多的哥们的榜样。一天清早，方信开着出租车在城市中穿梭，忽然他发现车上有乘客遗留的信物。他为了还这位乘客的东西却追到了顺天广场。接下来发生的事情就好像圆了自己的“城市猎人”梦一样.......。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
