When a casino owning dog named Charlie is murdered by his rival Carface, he finds himself in Heaven basically by default since all dogs go to heaven. However, since he wants to get back at his killer, he cons his way back to the living with the warning that doing that damns him to Hell. Once back, he teams with his old partner, Itchy to prep his retaliation. He also stumbles on to an orphan girl who can talk to the animals, thus allowing him to get the inside info on the races to ensure his wins。故事发生在毗邻大海的神户，在坡道最顶端有一栋老式的西方建筑，里面住着有些特立独行的服装裁缝市江（中谷美纪饰）。市江经营着从祖母手中继承下来的裁缝店，祖母在世时就秉承着“为人们缝制可以穿着一生的服装”的理念，一针一线都凝结着制作者的心血和灵魂。市江沿着祖母的道路一丝不苟前行，她热衷于为代代相传的衣服改尺寸，同时拒绝将这门手艺品牌化。当地百货商店的职员藤井（三浦贵大饰）三番五次登门拜访，希望市江能授权让服装走向市场。或许出于对祖母的尊重，或许是对这份手艺的虔诚，又或者是内心隐隐的不安与忌惮，市江久久无法迈出这重要一步…… 本片根据池边葵的同名原作改编。。
