话唠杜宇飞、处于半退休状态的能叔、恨嫁女花姐以及新人陈笠组成的不靠谱缉毒刑警小队，为了更隐蔽地监视毒贩，他们盘下隔壁的龙虾店。却不料生意火爆起来。在一边经营龙虾店一边搜寻线索时闹出一系列荒唐笑话，而围绕这家龙虾店，还隐藏着一个更大的阴谋……。导演两年前用纪录片《再见，白楼》（《金边白楼的前世今生》）向自己的童年故居致敬。今次有贾樟柯的公司参与制作，他则以剧情片来细说这栋大楼的居民在逼迁前的故事。主角和两位好友每天都在白楼内练舞，希望终有一天可以上电视台参加比赛。眼见白楼面临清拆，他的父亲想尽办法组织居民，向政府争取更合理的赔偿方案。此时死党亦将离开柬埔寨，他发现从前安稳的家园未必能跟上时代的变化。。In the futuristic city of Vanille, with properly tuned ImmerSyst Eyes & Ears the world can look and sound like a paradise.
