顾韵月离婚后独自抚养女儿，女儿病重后，顾韵月欲回村照顾，却遭阻挠，误传女儿死讯。得知真相后，通过女儿日记揭露虐待事实，将他们告上法庭。同时，她通过女儿生前成立的基金会帮助农村留守儿童，以此纪念女儿。。故事主线讲述一名开通的爷爷张通，因儿子及媳妇突于飞机失事，他遂负起照顾男孙子辉，孙女佩玲、佩丽、佩珊的责任。一家人相亲相爱，却又常因各人性格不同，产生不少拗撬，发生很多事故。子辉毕业后，进入广告公司工作。故事会从子辉这个人物，带出办公室政治，将其中种种矛盾之处，以嬉笑怒骂的方式加以讽刺，令人会心微笑。。After a passionate one-night stand in a friend’s NestShare, Lina discovers that her affair has been captured by cameras hidden in the apartment.
