浙江绍兴府的书生李甲（佟瑞敏 饰）和同乡柳遇春（吴慈华 饰）共赴京城求仕，在此期间结识了迎春院的名妓杜十娘（潘虹 饰）。李甲风流倜傥，为了十娘挥金如土。老鸨（金雅琴 饰）贪图李甲钱财，前后左右溜须奉承。但一味享乐无有进项，难免坐吃山空。老鸨见李甲钱财散尽，顿时换作冰冷嘴脸，独有十娘一片真心，只愿与李公子天长地久。李甲有心救十娘跳出泥潭，然而自身尚且难保，亲戚朋友也与之断绝来往。几番奔走，最终凭借十娘的梯己和柳遇春出手相助，李甲总算凑得300两纹银。一朝摆脱泥沼，李甲、十娘携手返乡，却不曾想纨绔子弟孙富（娄际成 饰）暗中作梗…… 本片根据明代小说家冯梦龙《警世通言》中的故事《杜十娘怒沉百宝箱》改编。。In this '60s retro prequel to the bizarro-noir Bloodsucker's Handbook (AKA Enchiridion), Bloodsucker's Planet follows the crew of the space ship Argosy as they respond to a distress signal from the industrial Planet Mara only to discover the planet is ruled by the sinister Mother Vampire.
