纪宛宁是东南亚某国普邦州舞剧团首席舞蹈演员。两年前，父亲在海关缉私发现货物异常，在前往举报途中车祸爆发身亡，检查证据也付之一炬。两年来纪宛宁坚信父亲的死不简单而暗中调查。但得到的消息却是当年的货物属于兰亨集团，车祸的刹车线有人为动过的痕迹。。Detective Murdoch finds that the man behind a flying machine that crashes in Toronto is none other than his old nemesis, James Pendrick.
