秦秋雨（李湘 饰）是一名女画家，她将她的作品寄放在贺俊之（何俊雄 饰）所经营的画廊之中售卖。贺俊之对这位特立独行的女艺术家印象深刻，她的一副名为《浪花》的画深深的吸引了贺俊之的注意。一天，秦秋雨的外甥女戴晓研（林凤娇 饰）来画廊玩，邂逅了贺俊之的儿子贺子健（秦汉 饰），趣味相投的两人很快就走到了一起。 婉玲是贺俊之的妻子，当她得知戴晓研和贺子健之间的感情后勃然大怒，千方百计的想要拆散两人，这让戴晓研感到十分痛苦。贺俊之再也无法压抑内心里对于秦秋雨的感情，于是提出了想要和婉玲离婚，没想到他的决定遭到了家人的一致反对。。Photographer Charles Castle is numbed with grief following the death of his beautiful bride.
