一向不景气的豫剧团接到了一个振奋人心的消息：香港某集团邀其演出。然而就在启程之际团长遇意外身亡，豫剧团随之解散。剧团里的三个好兄弟：马三、刘兵和四海亦随之失业。 马三失业后，无奈下只好把斗鸡作为谋生手段，其妻大红一人分做两份工，一心想着出国；四海妻子素梅去了深圳发展，四海贩起了狗，夫妻间渐渐疏离；刘兵靠老丈人的钱开了间相馆，可他却不满足业余摄影师的现状。 生活所迫下，三个男人开始慢慢适应新的环境。他们的困惑也在改变中越积越厚，但是，生活的真相或许本是如此……。阿曼达是一位离异的母亲，她带着十几岁的孩子们搬到了南哈尔斯登。她面临着青少年叛逆、环境问题等现代育儿难题，而母亲的孤独又让她的生活更加混乱。本剧为喜剧《我的妈啊》中配角阿曼达的衍生剧集。。Over the centuries only few caravans dared to cross the northern route of the silk road that today lies in the territory of Kazakhstan.
