香港探长钟伟正（郑则仕饰）联合台湾干探李（绍雄饰）合力营救被绑架的香港富商黄七辉（秦沛饰），辉为答谢二人，设宴招待，席间辉要求正代为设计及策划追踪器以防再被绑。而辉更与正结拜为兄弟。十年后，正已退休，其子明（李家声饰）开设建筑公司，正动用全部退休金，而辉口头答应全力支持负责判工程给予明，正开心非常，其实辉只知往钱看，明为人老实，辉为奸商，令明公司损失惨重，欠下大耳窿巨款，被追上门追杀，正想找辉...。The film was written and directed by Stuart Urban, and commissioned to mark the tenth anniversary of the Falklands War. The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
