剧组在一座荒凉的古宅里拍摄电影《古宅芳魂》时，接连发生了一系列怪事，出演女一号的三位演员相继在拍同一场戏时离奇死亡，拍摄只得中断。侦探龙飞带着实习搭档何甜甜一起来现场侦查，却找不到任何线索。女二号马莲的嫌疑最大，经过龙飞与何甜甜的调查，马莲被排除嫌疑。电影再次开机，何甜甜通过招募出演女一号，以便潜入剧组进行调查。在拍那场要命的戏时，何甜甜和男主角把感情戏演得淋漓尽致，突然马莲举起剑向何甜甜刺去，就在那一刹那男主角挡在了何甜甜的面前，剑刺进了他的胸膛。马莲被带到警察局，她百口难辩，终被判处死刑。就在马莲要被执行死刑的时候，一个瘦弱的男人，一直崇拜马莲的化妆师阿祖从人群中走出来，挡在马莲前边，说出了事情的真相……。It’s summer and a group of young women head off for a week to a house in the country in order to rehearse a play.
