Haven't watched it yet myself, but from the looks of it, this is very much reminescent of eighties and nineties v-cinema, sort of like early Miike (only made in 1978). There is considerably more dialogue than in his earlier films, but it doesn't seem too complicated plotw...。A criminal court judge starts a running club on L.A.'s notorious skid row. The club's members, comprised of homeless drug addicts, a recovering single mom and an paroled murderer, consider themselves among those least likely to succeed.
