It follows a crew of fierce female convicts who break free and go on the run.。历史故事剧。薛允璜于1984年编剧。写明代弘治十二年，苏州才子唐寅（字伯虎）雄心勃勃赴京会试，文章得意，谁知遭人暗算，蒙冤入狱。一顿棍棒，惊醒了功名美梦，落魄归家，又遭势利妻子何氏的奚落，以致夫妻反目，一家离分。唐伯虎心灰意冷，潦倒不堪，乐坊歌女沈九娘来到他身边，激励他争做画状元：“功名无指望，才名应远扬”。伯虎欣闻知音，顿扫愁云，游远山，搜奇峰，览神韵，千里壮游，画艺大进，喜同九娘结为终身伴侣，得女儿桃笙。南昌宁王聘他去作画，伯虎在画室之中，惊见好友张灵的意中人崔莹，识破宁王要他画成《十美图》进献皇上的阴谋诡计，他悔恨交加，悲愤难抑，折笔撕画，佯作痴狂，以求脱身。九娘在苏州家中，积劳成疾，见丈夫疯颠而归，心痛如绞，病情加剧。张灵得知崔莹遭遇，痛不欲生，以死殉情。伯虎痛失好友，又与贤妻诀别。九娘死后，伯虎晚境凄凉，父女相依为命，卖画为生。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
