Cindy was the ultimate groupie who married Frank and thought life would be glamorous and award shows, but it's not how it turned out.。A mysterious stranger travels to a remote village where, 15 years earlier, his wife and daughter were kidnapped.。一个平凡的意大利小镇上，中年男子马塞洛开着一家名为“dogman”的宠物清洁店。马塞洛是一个好人，他尊重弱小，认真工作，在友人邻里中有着不错的人缘。虽然女儿跟随前妻生活，但他依然和女儿保持着良好的父女关系。表面上看，马塞洛就是一个地道、平凡的老实人。但他却有着诸多损友，西蒙就是其中之一。他出狱后开始在街区内敲诈勒索，很快便扰乱了当地的平静，最终害得马塞洛入狱。出狱后，马塞洛被歧视、谩骂。他去找西蒙求助，却被粗暴对待。至此，马塞洛“醒悟”了，他装出一副讨好的样子，设计西蒙被关进狗笼。他只想要一个道歉，但西蒙在反抗时却意外身亡。马塞洛平静下来，拖着西蒙的尸体出街，为了证明自己讨回了公道。然而，小镇上的人纷纷离去，只留下愤怒、哀伤、麻木又茫然的马塞洛。。
