The film tells the story of three people for a year: a son (Magimel) diagnosed with cancer, a mother (Deneuve) suffering from helplessness and a doctor (Cécile de France) to do her job: One year and four seasons for these three characters to deal with the disease, to tame it, and to understand what it means to die while alive.。小伙子严格一直暗恋着美丽的同事笑笑，下个月就是笑笑生日，打算给她个惊喜的严格网购了笑笑一直心仪的一款包包。笑笑喜欢研究彩票，没事就喜欢买张彩票，这天严格托笑笑也给他代购一张彩票，想不到竟然中奖了，可是那张小小的彩票却不翼而飞……。
