I found myself cryin...。本剧以一间电视新闻编辑室的混乱世界为背景。故事从1986年讲起，哈雷彗星人人必看，艾滋病危机正在蔓延，挑战者号的爆炸震惊了世界。在这样的新闻世界中，新闻播音员Helen Norville (Anna Torv饰) 决心建立自己的信誉，而她的同事Dale Jennings (Sam Reid饰)则渴望成为一名新闻播音员。。热血的刑警妻子、负责推理的丈夫和儿子在自家客厅一起梳理接收到的情报，一幅搜查会议景象，合力解决各式案件 。。
